Days for Discernment (D4D)
Do you think you have gifts for ministry? Do you hear God calling you to make a difference in your world? Do you need some space to figure this out with others who are trying to figure it out too?
If you are wondering if seminary is the right next step for you, we have a very special opportunity for you to consider. “Days for Discernment” (D4D) is designed for those who want to explore what seminary life is like. D4D is held in the Fall and Early Spring on the Richmond campus of Union Presbyterian Seminary. The seminary sponsors this event for people considering the Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Christian Education (M.A.C.E.), or Master of Arts/Master of Divinity (M.A.C.E./M.Div. dual) degree programs. D4D is largely planned by current students, and faculty members are available for interviews and informal conversation. Worship, class visits, a retreat about call, free time, and several scheduled events are designed to help you clarify your call, and to introduce you to the faculty, students, and offerings of Union Presbyterian, as well as the Richmond area.
This year’s D4D will be November 11-14, 2010 and February 17-20, 2011. Follow this link to learn more and register for D4D!
