Today was a very eventful day. We started the day off with a trip over to the Labyrinth for our Spiritual Practice class. It was an amazing experience for me. The whole walk symbolized for me, God leading us in the right path throughout our lives. After the Labyrinth, we made our way over to the Celebration of the Mentored Projects where we watched the Project Burning Bush students from last year present their projects. It was a really inspiring part of my day. I’m excited to start planning my mentored project!

We then had recreational time where we got to play frisbee, slip and slide, or sit in a pool. It was a lot of fun to be able to connect with some of the Vocational Retreat students. After all that amazing-ness (haha) we had a delicious dinner, served by our amazing caterers. Dinner was then followed by a trip to the Flying Squirrels baseball game. It was a blast – even though they were “road kill” by the end of the game. We had a spectacular showing of fireworks at the end of the game that was absolutely amazing! Today was a very eventful yet fun day.. and now I’m tired so I am going to leave.

Rania,
Sounds like you are having a grand time……I can see the maturity already in your writings. God is working in not only your life, but the lives of those who care for you……May God continue to be that light in your life…….Auntie Pam
