“The Gospel is like a lion. It doesn’t need to be protected. It needs to be turned loose.” This is a quote that is in our journals, and one that I feel is true. My time here at Project Burning Bush has been one of excitement, mystery, and sometimes struggles. For me this time here is nothing that I expected at all which I mean in a positive way! I was expecting that I would just spend my time in classes and make no friends. Boy was I wrong! While I have been here we have been spending time in classes, but we’ve been working to build a community as well. The whole time here Joy has been telling us to search for the “God in between,” and to become Church. First I was thinking this women has lost it – we only have two weeks for complete strangers to do that, no way it is possible. Once again though I was proved wrong! Though that may come across as something bad but I mean it in a great way! I feel I am speaking on behalf of all the Burning Bush students when I say, we have truly found God in between and we have became Church! We did not only get a glimpse of what a Community built on God can look like, we have been able to experience it and keep it with us forever!
